Freshman High staff and students began their morning with a red-carpet welcome, kicking off a day of celebration as the school marked its designation as an AVID National Demonstration School.
In just its fifth year of implementing the program, Hobbs has emerged as a pace setter for the curriculum, which emphasizes study skills and strategies designed to help students succeed beyond graduation.
